Safe Havens’ Manna in the Wilderness Project provides outreach and education to strengthen prevention, early intervention, accountability, and social change within faith communities. This involves consciousness raising, training, skills and capacity building, and leadership development. Often, participants meet area service providers for the first time. Training can be developed around the needs of the participating faith community(ies).

Safe Havens’ Family Violence Prevention Project provides a comprehensive, protocol-driven, faith-based response to domestic abuse that addresses the dynamics of dv, understanding those who abuse, the impact on families, youth, and children, trauma and PTSD, law enforcement interventions, and effective responses. This training program is usually presented in an interfaith setting and includes discussions of faith resources and roadblocks.

Safe Havens’ Technical Assistance Project offers technical assistance on both national and local levels. The National Technical Assistance Project is funded by the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office on Violence Against Women. Safe Havens provides technical assistance OVW-funded agencies. Safe Havens’ Local Technical Assistance Project provides assistance to faith communities, service providers, and individuals who have questions about faith and domestic violence.
